The food shop near us offer a small book with some easy and cheap recipe. We got one few months back, and tried one of the recipe. We have tried the recipe many times and we love it and it´s became one of our daily meal. Besides it delicious, it is also easy to make. So the next day, when husband came home from his business trip, I made this couscous with chicken and vegetables recipe from the book for our dinner. It took me 30 minutes to made it.And voila! the dinner is ready to serve. It was funny, because before the husband came home, I already bought the ingredient of the recipe. And when husband came home, he asked me to do the same recipe that I planned for dinner. Haha. We often think the same thing, which is funny. Some times we think we we read each other´s brain. We are destiny ha?
I write the recipe here in case you like to try it and easy for me to find it the next time I make it again.
400 g. chicken file
200 g mushroom
2 carrots ( medium size )
2 dl of creme fraiche with the flavor of gourmet, porcini, thyme, citron ( this flavor you can get from special brand call Arla Kitchen )
3 dl bulgur
You need to do it step by step:
Cut chicken, mushroom and carrots in small pieces
Fry the chicken and mushroom together
season it with black pepper and salt
Add carrots, 1 dl water, and the creme fraiche
Cook for 5 minutes
and then your finished!
Cook the couscous while you making the chicken and couscous if you can since it saves time, but of course, it depend on you if you can do both. For me, I can do both at the same time. Enjoy!!!
